Charge Nurse (RN) - Orthopedics

Position Overview Seeking an Orthopedics Charge Nurse (RN) to support patient care and unit operations in a busy hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Assist nurse manager/director in coordinating, evaluating, and supervising patient care, staff activities, and unit functions.Manage clinical and non-clinical activities during assigned shifts and serve as a designee in the absence of leadership.Evaluate staffing needs based on patient acuity and volume, ensuring optimal care delivery.Communicate effectively with team members, troubleshoot issues promptly, and support a collaborative environment.Reinforce organizational values and support continuous improvement.Perform additional assigned tasks as needed. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with at least 1 year of RN experience, including ICU (preferably Neuro ICU).Current valid Arizona Nursing License.Ability to use clinical equipment, adapt to healthcare technology changes, and demonstrate effective communication.Basic computer skills; knowledge of Nurse Practice Act.Certification in clinical specialty (e.g., CCRN) within 3 years preferred.BSN degree preferred but not required.
