Charge Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

About the role

Seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to coordinate departmental activities, manage staff scheduling, and serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Providing patient care according to standards
• Supervising and delegating tasks to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Ensuring regulatory compliance through developing and implementing appropriate plans
• Training and mentoring staff
• Managing daily staffing decisions
• Overseeing orientation and competency assessments

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2+ years of OR RN experience
• Valid Arizona RN license
• Preferred: BSN, management experience, ACLS and PALS certifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to make independent decisions in high-pressure situations
