Charge Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

We are seeking an experienced OR - Operating Room Charge Nurse (RN) to oversee departmental functions and staff management. Key Responsibilities Include Coordinating unit activities, scheduling RNs, and acting as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders.Developing and implementing plans to meet regulatory standards.Training, mentoring, and supervising staff, including delegating patient care tasks to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.Providing direct patient care following established standards, monitoring care quality, and making appropriate assignments.Managing daily staffing, supporting staff orientation, and ensuring completion of competency requirements.Enhancing customer service by interacting with patients and staff, and addressing performance issues. Required Qualifications Degree from an accredited nursing school and active RN license in the state.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Operating Room and clinical nursing.CPR certification; ACLS and PALS as applicable. Preferred Skills And Credentials Include BSN, management experience, and specialty certifications.Ability to make independent decisions in high-pressure situations and manage departmental budgets.
