Charge Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Role: Operating Room Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating departmental activities, managing staff scheduling, and acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Supervise patient care, delegate tasks, and ensure standards are met.Lead staffing decisions, oversee onboarding, and facilitate staff training and mentorship.Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory requirements.Maintain high-quality customer service through staff oversight and performance tracking.Handle departmental operations, including scheduling and resource allocation.Address staff and patient concerns effectively, ensuring professional conduct. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse license in the appropriate state.Minimum two years of relevant clinical nursing experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage change, and make independent decisions under pressure.Experience in staff management, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory standards.Preferred: BSN, management experience, specialty certifications, and additional advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP. Additional Requirements Ability to train and mentor staff, coordinate unit activities, and ensure regulatory compliance.Must be capable of working independently in high-stress situations.
