RN - Operating Room

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join an outpatient surgical team. This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care throughout the surgical process.ScheduleFull-Time4 Days per WeekMonday-Friday6:30 AM - 5:00 PMNo nights, weekends, or major holidaysResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a state-of-the-art orthopedic surgery center.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.Prepare patients for operative procedures and provide preoperative education.Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.Educate patients and families regarding postoperative instructions and recovery expectations.Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards.RequirementsActive Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) License.Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required.Previous experience in Orthopedics, Operating Room, PACU, Ambulatory Surgery, Surgical Services, or Acute Care preferred.Current BLS certification required.ACLS certification preferred.Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a collaborative, patient-focused surgical environment.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package available.Consistent weekday schedule.Supportive team-oriented work environment.Opportunity to work with leading orthopedic surgeons and clinical professionals.Apply today to learn more about this exciting RN opportunity with WCS Healthcare Partners!
