About the role

The Clinical Manager oversees daily operations in the Ortho Spine Department, managing human resources, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining departmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Staff recruitment, evaluation, counseling, and scheduling
• Facilitate staff development through orientation and training
• Lead care protocols and monitor staffing efficiency
• Control costs and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Support hospital programs and collaborate across departments to optimize workflow and patient satisfaction
• Act as a positive role model and promote organizational and department goals
• Ensure staff adherence to standards to deliver excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• Associate degree in nursing (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 3 years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership skills
• Management experience (preferred)
