Charge Nurse - Medical Surgical

About the role

Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients across the lifespan, manages operational issues during the shift, provides clinical care as needed, and communicates patient care, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership. Acts as a resource and guidance for staff to ensure effective patient care and team support.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program
• At least one year of hospital nursing experience
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license
• BLS certification

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hospital experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Advanced specialty certifications (preferred)
• Demonstrated clinical competency (preferred)
