About the role

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within a collaborative care team. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety, satisfaction, and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and deliver care as outlined, exercising independent judgment when appropriate.
  • Coordinate patient flow, prioritize care, and maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and incidents.
  • Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and communicating pertinent information to the care team, emphasizing patient- and family-centered care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, support organizational change, and contribute to better patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional licenses and certifications, pursue ongoing training and development, and engage in professional organizations.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, foster a positive work environment, adhere to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, and promote the nursing profession.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or diploma in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Valid RN license (multi-state or single-state), BLS certification, and required upon hire.
