The Charge Nurse - Renal Unit - Weekends position at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center's 8 North Renal Unit is a full-time, benefits-eligible role. This position is responsible for operational and leadership accountability, facilitating patient care, and maintaining high standards of quality and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operational Accountability: Supports unit operations, monitors patient flow, and ensures efficient patient care.
• Leadership Accountability: Provides clinical leadership, assists in performance evaluations, and coordinates disaster plans.
• Quality Patient Care and Satisfaction: Facilitates patient care, educates staff, and monitors patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• Licensure: ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge and organizational skills.
• Ability to teach and assess staff skills.
• CPR certification.
