Charge Nurse - PCU, PT Days

About the Role

Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts. Provides clinical care as needed based on census demands and communicates patient care updates, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership. Acts as a resource for staff guidance and support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of safe, effective nursing care for diverse patient populations.
• Handle operational issues and clinical needs during shifts.
• Communicate pertinent information to leadership and staff.
• Serve as a resource and guide for nursing staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia and/or multistate licensure.

Qualifications

• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and specialized fetal monitoring training.
• Additional certifications relevant to specific units or specialties.
