Charge Nurse - Neuro ICU, Days

Role Overview Provides leadership and coordinates quality nursing care for patients across all ages, managing operational issues during shifts. Delivers clinical care as needed based on patient census and serves as a resource for staff guidance. Facilitates communication regarding patient care, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2 or more years preferred.Valid Georgia RN license and/or NLC/eNCL multistate license.Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and specialized fetal monitoring certifications as applicable.Additional certifications such as AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and PALS for pediatric care are required depending on the department. Key Duties Coordinate patient care delivery and address operational issues.Serve as a resource and guide for nursing staff.Ensure compliance with certification requirements for specialized care areas.
