Charge Nurse Neonatal ICU

Job Summary

You'll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients in the NICU. Your previous experience adds value to our team.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for fellow nurses and support them in reaching their full potential.
• Communicate effectively in 1:1 interactions and in front of groups.
• Hold tough conversations related to the performance of your people and your unit.
• Mentor others in areas such as competency, documentation, equipment use, plan of care, National Patient Safety Goals, and inservice education.
• Provide direct patient care as appropriate.
• Evaluate care given by staff.
• Coach to improve care.
• Ensure the standard of care is maintained.

Job Requirements

• Required: Associate of Nursing, Registered Nurse, AZ American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Stable Program within 12 - months.
• PREFERRED: Bachelor’s of Nursing, Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty, Charge Nurse experience.

Pay Range

$42.85 - $63.77 /hour
