About the Role
Provide direct patient care in a technically complex ICU environment, utilizing evidence-based practices and the nursing process. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritize safety, and contribute to quality care. Support and precept new staff and learners, fostering a fast-paced, innovative clinical setting. Adhere to specialty standards, including AACN’s Synergy Model, and participate in ongoing education and competency validation supported by clinical educators.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, safe patient care in the ICU setting.
- Model proficiency and support team development through precepting.
- Engage in evidence-based practice, wellness initiatives, and contribute to safety and quality improvements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
- Minimum 6 months ICU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications, with BLS valid through sixty days of hire.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills to thrive in a dynamic environment.
