Connections Health Solutions is a leading provider of immediate-access behavioral health crisis care. Our team combines medical and recovery-oriented treatment to stabilize individuals in crisis and connect them to community-based resources for ongoing recovery.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of the unit's operations, organization, and flow of recipients
- Delegating nursing assignments, overseeing admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Demonstrating knowledge of Crisis Intervention and de-escalating potentially aggressive situations
- Aiding in the training and orientation of new staff and overseeing assigned duties
- Maintaining compliance with JCAHO and OMFL standards and documenting accordingly
- Affirming adherence to required trainings and utilizing de-escalation procedures
- Maintaining coverage for RN/LPN call-offs and reporting lack of coverage
- Completing reviews and audits of staff documentation
- Assisting with the implementation of new policies/procedures and collecting necessary data
- Maintaining a safe milieu and monitoring observation, inpatient unit, and lobby areas
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Performing all essential functions of a Registered Nurse as needed
- Utilizing de-escalation procedures and demonstrating roles and responsibilities relative to safety
- Reviewing seclusion/restraint packets and assisting with their corrections
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program
- At least 3-5 years of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience
- At least 1-2 years of managerial experience
- Unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse through the Washington State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform physical interventions such as standing, pivoting, reaching, kneeling, lowering to the floor, and supporting another person’s weight
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Tolerate prolonged walking, standing, and observation in a fast-paced environment
- Work with individuals who may exhibit agitation, aggression, or unpredictable behavior

$61.50 - $71 USD per hour
