About the Role
We are seeking a Telemetry Charge Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and leadership in a medical telemetry environment, ensuring all patients receive high-quality, efficient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of telemetry patients.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients’ records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or hold an appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license is held).
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and basic PC skills.

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 400-bed acute care hospital in Brandon, FL, offering services including a heart & vascular center, behavioral health center, and a women’s center with a 36-bed neonatal intensive care unit.
