Responsibilities
- Coordinating and providing clinical nursing care during shifts based on patient needs and census.
- Communicating patient status, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.
- Serving as a resource and guide for staff members to ensure optimal care delivery.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Valid Georgia RN license or multistate licensure.
Certifications Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for Women’s Services
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (within 12 months for Labor & Delivery)
- PEARS Certification
