Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care and address operational issues during shifts.
- Provide clinical support based on census needs.
- Communicate patient status, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.
- Serve as a resource and guidance for nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience (2+ preferred).
- Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate licensure.
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and PALS (if applicable).
- Ability to provide specialized certifications for areas such as labor and delivery, NICU, or emergency departments.
- Emergency Department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days of hire.
