Charge Nurse Baylor Program (RN/LPN)

About the role

Join the Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation team in Jefferson City, Missouri, United States! Baylor Program Charge Nurse, Work two consecutive, 12hr shifts (24hrs) on Saturday and Sundays and get paid for 32 hours and an additional $5 an hour on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and assigning tasks to team members
• Develops and implements patient care plans in conjunction with the healthcare team
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment
• Monitors patient progress, identifies areas for improvement, and adjusts care plans as needed
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce complications

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
