Responsibilities

  • Ensures completion of designated assessments of all individuals brought to the facility, develops plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual.
  • Supervises special diet requirements as needed.
  • Supervises the nursing services for designated shift including patient assignments and safety in the facility.
  • Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring.
  • Maintains medical and nursing supplies and equipment and monitors the safety and effectiveness of equipment.
  • Administers medication as required by protocol.
  • Initiates and/or ensures appropriate response to all medical emergencies in accordance with medical protocol and policy.
  • Completes clinical documentation as required.
  • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
  • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Provides treatment and makes dispositions and referrals in consultation with the team.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
  • Performs other related duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Valid and current state-specific Nursing license (Compact licensure preferred).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

  • Education/Licenses: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state-specific RN license.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.

  • Ohio: Education Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Licensure Valid and current state-specific RN license. Certification
  • Washington: Education Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Licensure Valid and current state-specific RN license. Certification
  • Additional Requirements: Licensed Registered Nurse with 1 year of experience preferred (MHP level preferred)

Physical Demands

  • May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses.
  • May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Work Environment

  • May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility.
  • May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused.
  • Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
