Position Overview
(Offering up to a 10,000 Sign on Bonus)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate nursing operations during the assigned shift
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans, physician orders, and facility standards
- Monitor resident conditions, assess changes in health status, and ensure timely clinical interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice
- Serve as a clinical resource by providing coaching, guidance, and real-time problem solving for nursing staff
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Communicate changes in resident condition promptly to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Aid with admissions, transfers, discharges, and continuity of resident care
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and changes in resident condition using sound clinical judgment
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered work environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the State of Wyoming
- CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care preferred
- Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, infection prevention, nursing documentation, and long-term care standards
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care while supporting and developing nursing staff
