Charge Nurse - Acute Care RN - Registered Nurse
Position Purpose
With a focus on patient experience, quality and safety initiatives, the Charge Nurse will support Acute Care managers with daily tasks such as rounding, identifying risk, instituting improvement measures and ensuring compliance while providing exceptional patient care. The Charge Nurse will also support in the education and coaching of colleagues, new hires and students.
Schedule
- Full Time – Days 1.0, 40 hours per week
- Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30 pm (hours may vary based on department need)
- No call, nights, weekends, holidays
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-3 years Acute Care experience required
- Leadership Experience Strongly Preferred
- Current IA RN license
- Specialty certification preferred
- BSN preferred
- Self Starter
- Proactive initiative / problem solving skills
