Day Shift Hours: 3 days per week at 12 hour shifts
Full-Time – 40 Hours per Week

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in related field
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
  • 2 or more years of Radiology Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as MRI,CT, IVR, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catherization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
Assists staff technologist in prioritizing and problem solving patient care or imaging issues, and serves as a resource person.
Delegates tasks to ensure proper daily operations.
Affords responsibilities of supervisor in their absence.
Serves as the clinical resource and expert for the technologists. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to: problem solving, assisting with difficult exams, and mentoring.
Serves as the clinical liaison between the team and supervisor. Ensures that proper information is communicated from the team and escalated to the supervisor appropriately.

Responsibilities

Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
Oversees shift operations to include daily workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjusts priorities and assignments to best meet department needs.
Enters/escalates IT and equipment tickets.
Serves as the clinical resource and expert for the technologists. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to: problem solving, assisting with difficult exams, and mentoring.
Serves as the clinical liaison between the team and supervisor. Ensures that proper information is communicated from the team and escalated to the supervisor appropriately.
Maintains/orders necessary supplies for department needs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Associate or Trade School
  • Experience: 2-5 years Supervisor Experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience: 5-10 years
