Charge MRI Scrub Radiology Technologist (3 x 12's) - Operating Room (OR)

About the Role

This full-time Charge MRI Technologist position operates in the operating room, specializing in advanced imaging modalities such as MRI using Siemens machines. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients, overseeing shift operations, and serving as a clinical resource and mentor to staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Independently conduct MRI studies and other advanced imaging procedures.
• Manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain supplies and ensure operational readiness of imaging equipment.
• Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of senior staff.
• Facilitate training, development, and mentorship for staff and students.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist (R.T.).
• Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in radiology or advanced imaging.
• Relevant licenses or certifications such as CPR and specialized imaging credentials.
