MRI Technologist - Operating Room (OR) - Days (3 x 12's)

About the role

Seeking a Senior MRI Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in a surgical environment, supporting interventional and operative cases. This full-time position offers day shift hours with no call requirements, working three 12-hour days per week. The technologist will operate Siemens MRI machines, assist in departmental quality assurance, and mentor new staff and students under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and equipment
• Performing studies independently
• Assisting with regulatory compliance
• Leading safety and quality initiatives
• Mentoring staff

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography and/or MRI
• 2+ years of experience (preferably in MRI or OR settings)
• Experience with interventional or surgical MRI procedures (preferred)
• Licenses such as R.T.(R), MR, or relevant certifications (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience
• Additional certifications such as CPR and IV therapy
• Leadership capabilities
