Placement within the salary range is dependent on relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement is guided by the collective bargaining agreement rules.
Pay
$17.05 - $21.31 hourly
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Hybrid model: majority work from home with some required office time
- Travel to hospital locations in the North, Northwest, and South suburbs required

Responsibilities
- Utilizes clinical and coding knowledge to ensure accurate and compliant charge items and to recognize and resolve billing inconsistencies.
- Analyzes content of system-generated reports and software edits to facilitate revisions with appropriate clinical departments.
- Serves as liaison to the appropriate Epic Team concerning medication charges and billing.
- Participates in departmental auditing processes as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- 1 year of related experience preferred.
