About the role
Standing trustees receive compensation pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 586(e)(1)(A). The minimum qualifications for appointment are set forth in 28 C.F.R. § 58.4.
Requirements
- Strong administrative, financial, and interpersonal skills
- Management, fiduciary, and bankruptcy experience is desirable but not mandatory
