About the role

Baptist Health is Jacksonville's only locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system. We provide a full spectrum of preventive and specialty care through 200+ locations and six hospitals. Our centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pastoral Care and Counseling
• Be an active treatment team member
• Aid with students and volunteers
• Develop efficient follow-up support plans for patients
• Comply with the Standards and Objectives of the ACPE, Inc. and its BMC Residency Program Curriculum
• Rotate in-hospital on-call with fellow residents

Requirements

• 1-2 years Ministry Experience (preferred)
• Master's Degree Required (Education Note: Master’s in one of the related concentrations or must have completed 24-36 hours of the program-masters level class in theological education)
