Chaplain - PRN

Schedule

PRN (as needed), 24 hours per week

Location: 100 Health Park Dr, Louisville, Colorado 80027

Responsibilities

• Assess, provide, and document pastoral care to patients, families, and staff.
• Provide appropriate pastoral care to the local ministry and community through prayer and blessings.
• Consult with patients, families, and medical staff on ethical decision-making and values, making referrals as needed.
• Assist in planning, organizing, evaluating, and implementing spiritual programs to ensure proper execution of spirituality initiatives.
• Facilitate spiritual support and guidance during times of crisis and transition.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate spiritual care into patient treatment plans.
• Conduct religious services, rituals, and ceremonies as needed.
• Offer emotional and spiritual support to staff to enhance well-being and resilience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local religious and community organizations.
• Provide education and training on spiritual care to healthcare staff.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of spiritual care activities and interventions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, spiritual care, or pastoral ministry required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 unit of ACPE, Inc. accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required.
• Minimum of 2 units of ACPE, Inc. accredited CPE preferred.
• 1+ years of pastoral ministry or chaplaincy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ordained Minister (ORDM) preferred.
• Commissioned Minister Credential (ADM) preferred.
• Ecclesiastical Endorsement Certificate (CHAPLAIN) preferred.
• Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) preferred.

Pay

$22.41 - $41.68 per hour
