Carefully documents interventions provided.

Collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in identifying holistic approaches to patient care needs, and facilitating progress towards resolution of these needs or the patient’s/family’s adjustment to illness or injury.

Plans and leads chapel and memorial services, as assigned/authorized, according to a schedule or on special occasions. Provides sacraments in fitting ways and contexts as needs/requests for them emerge. Offers to make appropriate referrals when a particular valid request is outside of the chaplain’s ability to provide.
