Location: Pembroke Pines, Florida. Onsite - Full Time. Role requires travel between three locations: Memorial Cancer Institute- Memorial Hospital West, Memorial Cancer Institute - Memorial Hospital Regional, Memorial Cancer Institute - Hallandale Beach.

Responsibilities

• Maintains day-to-day schedule of pastoral care rounding on patients according to need and house census.
• Performs rituals and sacramental rites according to patient/family need or request.
• Attends clinical and interdisciplinary team meetings, working alongside medical and support staff as a direct care provider.
• Attends emergency codes and critical events as needed or requested.
• Provides on-call chaplain coverage (nights/weekends) according to need or established schedule.
• Leads public services as well as spiritual support groups as needed or requested.
• Assists with various administrative tasks supporting the spiritual care program of a given hospital campus.
• Provides spiritual services to patients and families across multiple hospital departments (Adult & Pediatric) using a Patient and Family Centered approach.
• Assesses and attends to spiritual needs of patients, family and staff, accommodating varied faith traditions and customs.
