Responsibilities

• Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
• Render accurate translations between Chaochow and English speakers
• Adapt to various industries including healthcare, insurance, finance, and law
• Provide cultural sensitivity and handle sensitive topics with professionalism
• Work flexible hours to fit your schedule

Requirements

• Fluency in Chaochow and English
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Cultural competency and ability to assess regional and accent differences
• At least 18 years old
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write Chaochow and English

Qualifications

• Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
• Must be able to adapt to LLS technology enhancements
• Must be able to operate a variety of devices and software
• Must have a quiet workspace

This is a remote position, and interpreters work from their home office.

• Must be able to operate a keyboard and mouse
• Must be able to operate company provided software and systems
• Must have sufficient manual dexterity to type or write
• Must be able to lift up to 26 lbs
