Responsibilities

• Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
• Render accurate translations between Chaochow and English speakers
• Adapt to various industries including healthcare, insurance, finance, and law
• Maintain professionalism and neutrality during interpreting sessions
• Ensure confidentiality and follow client instructions
• Provide cultural sensitivity and diversity in interactions
• Be prepared to handle emotionally charged and stressful calls

Requirements

• Fluency in Chaochow and English
• Cultural competency and understanding of regional accents
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during interpreting sessions
• Education or experience in language-related fields preferred
• Work authorization that allows employment in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write Chaochow and English

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Access to a quiet workspace and reliable internet connection
• Physical ability to operate a computer and communicate effectively
