About the role
The Channel Marketing Manager supports multiple large accounts including Big Box Retailers, Distributors, and/or lumberyards. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, executing marketing programs, and advocating for new ideas.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new marketing programs in collaboration with the VP Retail Marketing and various colleagues in the marketing function.
- Lead annual processes from planning to marketing commercialization with the customer base, including selling strategic marketing initiatives to drive growth.
- Project manage and oversee execution of customer marketing programs, including those conceived by GAF and those initiated by customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with merchandising and marketing contacts at assigned accounts to understand needs and context.
- Partner directly with sales leadership to identify short and long-term selling opportunities.
- Prepare for and support retail marketing events, including supplier reviews, store events, and other major customer meetings and activities.
- Lead and manage the budgeting process and planning.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on shopper behaviors, trends, and emerging technologies in the marketplace.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in customer marketing with retail experience.
- The position is based in Parsippany, NJ with a hybrid in-office schedule, requiring in-office work on Monday through Thursday and remote work on Friday.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit).
