Channel Host & Content Creator

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-camera interviews with athletes, coaches, executives, owners, founders, and sports industry leaders.
• Create, film, and collaborate on short-form video content designed for viral growth across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
• Research guests and develop thoughtful interview questions centered around sports business, branding, entrepreneurship, sponsorships, investments, partnerships, and leadership.
• Contribute creative ideas for new content formats and interview concepts.
• Represent the School of Hard Knocks brand professionally and authentically.
• Travel regularly for interviews, sporting events, conferences, and content shoots.
• Work closely with our production, editing, and social media teams to publish engaging content.
• Build credibility and community as the face of the Sports Business channel.

Requirements

• Passion for both sports and business.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
• Strong understanding of social media trends and what makes content engaging.
• Excellent communication and interviewing skills with the confidence to connect naturally on camera.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Must live in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience interviewing guests or hosting on camera.
• Knowledge of the sports business landscape, including sponsorships, endorsements, ownership, media, or athlete branding.
• Experience working in sports, media, marketing, business, or content creation.
• Existing personal brand or social media presence is a plus but not required.

Benefits

• Compensation: OTE in this position will be $100K+. Starting salary is a $70,000 annual base with incentives, details on incentives discussed privately with qualified candidates.
