Changeover Laborer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Aids in converting Arena facilities between different uses (basketball, concerts, theater, meetings, etc.).
• Fulfills setup and teardown tasks for stages, seating, tables, ramps, and other amenities.
• Performs light cleaning and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Maintains safety protocols and reports any safety concerns or damages to the manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Operational knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Desire to work hard to produce consistent, quality results.
• Ability to take/follow directions and remain flexible.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through with a “can do” attitude.

Physical Demands

• Regularly moves around the facility.
• Stands for long hours during events.
• Talks and hears while performing duties.
• May work inside or outside of the building, depending on event needs.
• Extensive walking and standing.
• Kneeling, climbing to high walkways, balancing, and maneuvering throughout the facility.
• Frequent lifting of 30 – 50 lbs., with some heavier lifts being done as a team.
• Exposure to adverse conditions (inside and outside of the building).
• Must be able to hear and speak to use a two-way radio.
