Change Manager, Organizational Design and People Change
About the role
The Change Manager proactively supports the business to prepare for, deliver, and adopt a wide variety of change activity and initiatives, with a focus on human behavior and the people impact of change. This role acts as a bridge across multiple business areas, partnering with the business to help them understand the broader change landscape. Responsibilities include creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize business buy-in and employee adoption while minimizing resistance to achieve sustained outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders as a Change subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
- Lead and run change projects, partnering with Business Leaders, Program and Project managers, integrating change management activities into overall business/program objectives and delivery plans.
- Understand the impact of changes; identify and manage change risks and issues, anticipate points of resistance, and mitigate or address concerns, escalating issues in a timely manner.
- Develop specific change strategies and plans based on situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups impacted.
- Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
- Oversee development of actionable and targeted change management plans, including communication, stakeholder analysis, and training plans.
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress with a focus on adoption.
- Influence business leaders and key stakeholders to embed effective change management approaches into their strategies, objectives, and plans.
- Work with business stakeholders and change champions/agents to prepare affected business areas and colleagues for transition to new ways of working, including developing, leading, and delivering coaching sessions and workshops.
Requirements
- At least 2-4 years of change management experience within a large, complex organization, including experience working across multiple functions and business areas.
- A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Flexible and adaptable with strong people, relationship, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills—both written and verbal (for individuals and groups).
Qualifications
- Professional training and certification, such as APMG or Prosci.
- Familiarity with project/program management approaches, processes, and lifecycles.
- Comfortable providing advice and constructive challenge to Stakeholders and Project Teams.
- A solid understanding of how different people, personalities, and organizational cultures approach and adopt change.

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,700 to $195,200. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
Schedule
This role follows a hybrid work model, including the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections, and professional development benefits of working in the office. All colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
