Chan Lab - Junior or Assistant Specialist
About the role
A junior/assistant specialist opportunity is available at the University of California, San Francisco in the Department of Radiation Oncology. This role will assist in cancer research by developing data collection and analysis of clinical data. Responsibilities include data collection, management, and cleaning of data. The specialist will work closely with other research group members, participate in group meetings, and perform other duties as assigned. They will be expected to conduct data analyses and prepare for presentations at team meetings and journal clubs. The specialist will join a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists in the Department of Radiation Oncology.

Requirements
- Junior rank: B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent) in biology, chemistry, physics, or a related field
- Assistant rank: Master’s degree or bachelor's degree with at least 3 or more years of research experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with clinical medicine
- Experience developing experimental and analytical plans
- Prior research experience

Salary Range
A reasonable estimate for this position is $55,000-$70,700.
