POSITION OVERVIEW
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for interpretation of architectural documents in conjunction with sales order information to create quality submittal packages for client approval.
- Manage own work schedule and priorities commitments to ensure on-time completion of assigned tasks.
- Cook up review meetings to go over drawing updates prior to submit to client.
- Keep track of and document all changes that would impact production.
- Create Bill of Materials for manufacturing parts.
- Construct comprehensive installation drawing packages for installers.
- Work with engineering to provide ETO solutions and assist with part drawings and item creation.
- Perform site visits to collect field information.
- Work multiple projects concurrently.

- Construction industry and building code familiarity.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural prints.
- Reliability – consistently available during core working hours.
- Able to give timely responses to quick turn requests.
- Flexibility – able to adapt to unique drawing and scheduling requirements per project.
- Ability to travel, including international travel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 or 4 year Technical Degree and/or 5 plus years of experience.
- Drafting experience working in a manufacturing or other technical field is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience using Autocad and Inventor is highly desirable.
