About the role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will manage accounting operations for the housing programs of The Danville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (DRHA) and provide support to the CEO in various areas including HR, management, accounting, and financial matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations for DRHA's housing programs
- Provide financial oversight and support to the CEO
- Support HR and management functions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit setting
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reports
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state housing programs
- Experience with financial software and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
