CFO - Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities
- Direct the organization’s finance function and serve as the senior financial leader throughout the contract engagement.
- Develop and monitor cash flow projections, oversee liquidity planning, and help safeguard the company’s financial position.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and month-end close activities.
- Maintain communication with lenders, oversee covenant compliance, and support financing-related discussions.
- Cook up with external auditors, tax professionals, and other advisors to keep reporting and compliance activities on track.
- Prepare clear financial updates, analysis, and presentation materials for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Evaluate margins, profitability, and operating performance to provide actionable recommendations for business decisions.
- Support due diligence, transaction preparation, and other corporate finance initiatives tied to strategic events.
- Lead, mentor, and support the existing finance team while remaining involved in day-to-day financial operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience serving in a Chief Financial Officer capacity with responsibility for enterprise-level financial leadership.
- Strong background in cash flow analysis, capital management, financial reporting, and executive decision support.
- Demonstrated success overseeing month-end close processes and maintaining reliable financial controls.
- Experience working with lenders, external auditors, tax advisors, and board-level reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in manufacturing or complex industrial business environments.
- Background supporting transaction-related activities such as mergers and acquisitions, sale processes, or readiness for due diligence.
- Ability and willingness to assume financial signing authority as an independent contractor when required.
