About the role

Description Dermatology for Animals is looking for full-time Certified Veterinary Technicians to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Salt Lake City, UT. $2,000 Sign-On Bonus available!

Responsibilities

  • Play a vital role in supporting patient care by providing comprehensive assistance throughout each visit.
  • Includes hands-on support with dermatology treatments and laboratory testing.
  • Essential services such as patient intake, monitoring and discharge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required.
  • Superior/advanced technical skills.
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care).
  • Possesses a positive work attitude.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

Pay

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $26 – $31 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Schedule

Full-time position.
