Diagnostic Automotive Technician

Job Duties

• Repair vehicle issues written up by Auditors- BSR, NVH and dynamic issues.
• Replace vehicle parts as required for vehicle retrofits.
• Perform vehicle and component software updates.
• Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
• Perform basic vehicle care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels and rotating tires as necessary.
• Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications.
• Document automotive problems and repairs in MPK system.

Requirements

• Technician must have access and be trained in the MPK, Dealer Connect, JTETSO, HPIMS, and other mainframe systems and have a dedicated hoist, laptop, Wi-tech and CDA micro pods for the new (WL & WS) and old (All other FCA) vehicle architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills; effective communication skills to discuss work requirements with clients and other team members.
