About the role

Cornell Center Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to support their 1 doctor practice located in Beaverton, Oregon. The full-time position offers a four-day workweek.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and professional care to patients under the supervision of veterinarians.
• Administer medications, collect samples, and perform diagnostic tests as directed.
• Assist with surgeries and other medical procedures.
• Document patient care and treatment in electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health and treatment plans.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Veterinary Technician from an AVMA-accredited program.
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $24-$26 per hour.
