Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a veterinary technician. This position is open to licensed technicians or those able to be licensed in the State of Wisconsin.

Our practice is located in the beautiful recreational community of Minocqua, Wisconsin. We primarily see companion animals, with enough exotic and pocket pets to keep things interesting. Our practice is equipped with the latest technology, including on-site lab and dental/DR radiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement
• Accurate medical history charting
• Provide customer service and perform various duties as needed
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Lift 40-50 lbs

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to perform a variety of duties
• Experience in general practice and surgery/dental is a plus

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician or ability to become licensed in Wisconsin

Pay

Compensation is based on experience:

• Licensed technician: $18.00–$22.00 per hour
• $500 sign-on bonus
