Certified Veterinary Technician
Responsibilities
- Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
- Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
- Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
- Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
Requirements
- Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Oregon
- 3+ years of experience as a CVT
- Proficiency in the following skills: Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement Medication administration and accurate drug calculations Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing Accurate medical record documentation Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques Client education and communication Effective teamwork and professional communication skills Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
Qualifications
Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply.

Schedule
This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed generally Monday-Sunday.
Pay
$24-27 per hour, for each hour worked
