Certified Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient and client care by ensuring an efficient exam room workflow.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records.
- Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients, answering questions with empathy and clarity.
- Support the veterinarians orders during outpatient care and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Minnesota
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Surgical set up and assisting
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placements
- Laboratory and microscope experience
- IM and SQ injections
- Anesthesia: induction and recovery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Minnesota
- Experience with animal restraint techniques
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology

Pay
Compensation: $25-$27 per hour, for each hour worked*
Bonus package: $2000
Schedule
This is a full-time or part-time, Monday-Friday role comprised of 4/10s and 1 rotating Saturday shift per month.
