About the role
Mitchell Animal Hospital & All Creatures Mobile Veterinary Services is a locally owned, growing general practice dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care to every patient and client. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team in both our hospital and mobile veterinary service.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during appointments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures
- Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients
- Administer medications and perform treatments as directed
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with teammates to provide efficient, compassionate patient care
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area
Requirements
- Prior veterinary experience (required)
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification (required)
- Surgical and anesthesia experience (strongly preferred)
- Communicates professionally with both clients and coworkers
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently when needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state license to practice veterinary technology
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
