Certified Veterinary Technician

About the role

Cimarron Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Requirements

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Arizona
• Experience with Cornerstone is a plus
• Proficiency in the following skills: Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring, Dental Prophylaxis

Pay

Compensation: $20-$23 per hour, for each hour worked

Schedule

This position is available Monday - Saturday, with Saturdays required. Full-time benefits and compensation are offered.
