About the role

Responsibilities
- Aid veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care from patient intake through discharge
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and diagnostic sample collection
- Run in-house laboratory testing, including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing
- Support surgical and dental procedures through preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and outstanding patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred
- Strong patient handling and restraint skills
- Experience with nursing care, laboratory procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
- Clear and concise medical record documentation
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Positive attitude, reliability, and genuine passion for veterinary medicine
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician
- Current CPR certification

Schedule
4.5-day work week with rotating Saturday shifts
