About the role

VCA Little Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician (CVT preferred) to join their team in New Port Richey, FL.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with compassion
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Assist with anesthesia and surgery
• Perform radiology, dentistry, catheter placement, venipuncture, laboratory work, and pharmacy duties
• Manage medical records

Requirements

• Positive and motivated personality
• Experience as a CVT, RVT, or LVT
• Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT)
• Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
• Basic computer skills
